About Our Program
The Miss Douglas County Scholarship Program is an official preliminary to the Miss Oregon Scholarship Program and the Miss America Opportunity. However, our mission goes well beyond hosting an annual scholarship competition since 1947.
We are a thriving 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that has awarded $496,904 in scholarships to 450 women since 2007 alone. We are proud to cultivate a community of ambitious, dynamic women who uplift and inspire one another to succeed in pursuit of their educational and career goals.
We offer a comprehensive mentorship and leadership development program from December-March with countless benefits to all participants, as well as coveted year-round opportunities to serve as one of our Miss or Teen ambassadors: Miss Douglas County, Miss Umpqua Valley, Miss Roseburg, Miss Douglas County’s Teen, Miss Umpqua Valley’s Teen, or Miss Roseburg’s Teen.

We are accepting applications from women ages 14-28 in four Oregon counties: Curry, Douglas, Jackson, and Josephine. Experience is not required to succeed or earn scholarships.
